I’ve only seen it like once before, so I thought it was a glitch/coincidence but, if a VERY mean sim is around a couple being romantic, they’ll get angry and irritated and do a “psshh” gesture.

Teens sometimes do that too if they're in the same room when their parents start getting all smoochy.

Finally figured out how to "undeepen" the basement in the House of Fallen Trees. (Don't use the GridAdjuster unless you are very familiar with how it works - I not only wiped out the basement and everything in it, plus getting stuck with two embedded and non-removable floor runners, but all the windows and doors had to be reset (and since it was an occupied lot, so did all the furniture and all the Sims!)

Recommended: make these adjustments before moving in any Sims!

First, find and remove all objects from the basement. You don't have to delete them; you can just move them upstairs or (preferably) outdoors while you work on the basement.

Next, delete all but the topmost stairs, and the fencing.

Then, paste a wallpaper with something at the bottom at the top of the inner basement wall, to use as a guide. Gradually raise and level the basement until it is level with the bottom of the wallpaper. (This is the tedious part, and you have to be careful not to mess up the ground outside.)

Then, go around the area between the basement walls and level it up as best you can (there will be a few troublesome spots, and you can't do anything about the outermost squares).

Then, check around the outside of the house just to make sure you haven't dug any holes.

Finally, replace all items in the basement as you please, redecorate as you choose, and don't forget to save.

~~This is probably very obvious, buuuut: Sims can use a computer (and I guess do their homework, too, but I couldn't it test it yet, though I will edit this post when my newborn grows up) on a coffee table when the chair is on floor level (like 8k's zabuton). I always thought it only worked for desks and dining tables!~~

Edit: Please scratch this for now, I was stupid and confused the low dining table I have with a coffee table. I have to look up if it actually works with a coffee table, I'm very sorry!!! q__q
Edit 2: Yeah, no. It doesn't work. You can't even place computers on a coffee table. I'm sorry;;

I did not discover something, but I did realise that at some point Nervous and Pascal are going to get married and Nervous' full name will become Nervous Curious... and I do not know why, but now I am here, laughing my butt off

I didn't know that parents could roll the want - pull prank on child. I found it out when playing Ottomas family today. I can assure you that Peter Ottomas is not a father figure. He always cheats his wife in my game and hates changing diapers to death. So when he rolled wants to pull prank on Tommy(one of his children bunch), I was kinda surprised because it was my first time to see that want, but soon had to agree that he would've always thought that considering he is a romance sim stuck with bunch of crying and smelly kids.

Hi. I'm Caren but you can also call me Beau. I luv sims since I was born.
